As Integrated Research Training Group of the SFB 944 „Physiology & Dynamics of Cellular Microcompartments“, the IRTG serves as advanced training platform for its associated PhD students. Thereby, it is the goal of the IRTG to support the PhD students of the SFB and the Biology Department of Osnabrück University by offering diverse possibilities for further training and networking. The IRTG organizes workshops and seminars given by internal and external speakers, progress reports of PhD students and retreats. In addition, the IRTG can award Travel Grants and other financial support to PhD students who are active members of the Integrated Research Training Group.
